Variety has just reported that the Miss Universe contest officially switched to streaming via Roku channel, when the agreement with Fox and MC Steve Harvey ended. Accordingly, Steve Harvey, who has hosted the contest for 6 consecutive years since 2015, will not return.
According to Miss Universe executive director Amy Emmerich, a new host – expected to be female – will be announced soon.
Ms. Emmerich just joined the Miss Universe organization earlier this year, and has been busy reforming and refreshing the longtime organization.
