Scarlett Johansson joined fellow Hollywood A-listers at the Clooney Foundation For Justice’s The Albies event, which was held in New York City on Thursday evening.
The 38-year-old performer cut a fashionable figure in a flattering all-black outfit as she spent time at the charitable function.
The actress, who recently attended an event for Prada during Milan Fashion Week, wore a chic satin double-breasted jacket that hugged her slim waist.
She completed the look with coordinating tapered trousers and black stiletto heels.
The Academy Award-nominee accessorized with sparkly earrings for the starry soiree, and carried a small clutch with a large tassel.
Her typically free-flowing blonde locks were slicked back off her face and worn in a sleek bun.
She was joined on the red carpet by George Clooney and his wife Amal Clooney, who established the foundation in 2016 to ‘provide free legal support to victims of abuses of power.
‘Each of our programs aims to fight systemic injustice against vulnerable communities: journalists, women and girls, democracy defenders, LGBTQ+ persons and minorities,’ the official website reads.
Other attendees included: Cindy Crawford, Kate Moss, Viola Davis, Sofia Vergara, Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon and Jodie Turner-Smith, among others.
Johansson is currently preparing for the release of the upcoming feature Project Artemis, in which she will appear.
She also serves as one of the film’s producers, in addition to maintaining her starring role.
According to Deadline, the upcoming movie will be centered on the space race.
However, finer plot details regarding the project are currently being withheld from the public.
Jason Bateman and Chris Evans were initially set to serve as the movie’s director and male lead, respectively.
However, the former of the pair left the project in June of last year, citing creative differences, and the latter followed suit the following month.
Channing Tatum entered negotiations to take over Evans’ role soon after the Avengers: Endgame star left the film’s cast, and he was eventually confirmed as the movie’s male lead.
Director Greg Berlanti, best known for his work on You and Love, Simon, also stepped in to helm the feature.
The project’s cast will be rounded out by performers such as Ray Romano, Jim Rash and Woody Harrelson.
Principal photography for the film commenced last October, with Atlanta serving as one of the main filming locations.
Project Artemis, which will be made available to the public through the Apple TV+ streaming service, currently does not have a scheduled release date.
