Here is the latest news from Scarlett:

– She will be joining Gael García Bernal and other celebrities at the climate change convention in Cancun next week to support the cause as an Oxfam ambᴀssador.

-In January she will start filming her next project, ‘We Bought a Zoo’, which you can read information about here* and she has also signed to star in ‘Under The Skin’ although it is not certain that this film will finally be made. More info here*

– Scarlett has participated in the soundtrack of ‘Wretches and Jabberers’, a documentary about autism with a song called ‘One Whole Hour’. The album comes out on January 11.

Scarlett turns 26 today so congratulations to her and her twin brother Hunter!

“I usually celebrate my birthday with my twin brother, who is funnier than me. I don’t really have any special memories from when I was a little girl: they would make me a very big homemade cake and I would share it among my friends, but that’s it. It has been a very special year for her, she has won her first Tony Award, she has fulfilled her dream of debuting on Broadway and she has new and exciting projects for 2011. I wish her all the best on this special day, congratulations Scarl ♥

Scarlett has been chosen as the “cute” of the year by the men’s magazine GQ. About this whole thing about being a Sєx symbol, she says:

“Oh yeah, that. Well, I didn’t expect that kind of thing, to be honest. I think it all comes with my age, the whole thing about being a Sєx symbol. Ya “It will pᴀss. It’s a phase. And people want you to become a commodity in some way, right?”

Harsh words, although very right, that’s why it doesn’t fit me that sometimes she exploits her Sєxy image like in these pH๏τos… but hey, it can’t be denied that she is pretty, although very pH๏τoshopped.
Oh, and her husband Ryan has been chosen as the Sєxiest of the year by People magazine… what a handsome couple, huh? Let’s see if we see them together soon!

Scarlett starred in this Saturday’s episode of Saturday Night Live.

It is the third time she comes out and although this was the least funny show she has done, she has some very good sketches, like the one from ‘The Manuel Ortiz Show’:

Scarlett’s first promo for SNL just came out and it’s the funniest!

I’m dying to see her because she always brings out the most comedic side of her on the show and she does it great…and let’s see if Ryan Reynolds makes a cameo like the one Scarlett did when he was recently on the show !

Scarlett went to Late Night With Jimmy Fallon yesterday to promote her upcoming appearance on Saturday Night Live.

She looked beautiful with her hair like that, and the interview is totally great. She talked about her vacation with Ryan this summer, her Tony Award, and partying during the filming of ‘He’s Just Not That Into You’ ( video )

As her publicist has just confirmed to me, Scarlett signed a new project yesterday: ‘We Bought a Zoo’ , directed by Cameron Crowe ( Jerry Maguire , Almost Famous ) and also starring Matt Damon.

Synopsis: The story tells the real experience of Benjamin Mee, who bought a house that turned out to be located in the middle of a park inhabited by about two hundred animals, released after the disappearance of a zoo. Scarlett would play Kelly, a zookeeper who buys Benjamin Mee .

Scarlett has signed on to be part of ‘Under the skin’ !

Synopsis: The story revolves around an alien disguised as a fascinating woman who hunts human prey on remote roads and other desolate places with her voracious Sєxuality. Over time, she begins to change her thinking about humans and finds herself in conflict with her own species.

The director is the same as ‘Birth’ ( Reincarnation ) and ‘Sєxy Beast’ and although the film has no release or distribution date, it seems that filming would begin in the spring, when Scarlett finishes ‘The Avengers’.
The truth is that her character looks very good and without a doubt it would be something different! I hope more news comes out soon 🙂
