On the morning of June 21, striker Kylian Mbappe appeared with a new mask on the training field with the French team, ready to face the Netherlands.
In the latest training session of the French team in the early morning of June 21 (Vietnam time), Kylian Mbappe appeared with a new protective mask printed with the French flag.
The French superstar wore a mask throughout training, after a nose injury in France’s Euro 2024 opening match.
Mbappe was forced to leave the field early in “Les Bleus’s” 1-0 victory over Austria. The French Football Federation (FFF) later revealed that Mbappe did not need surgery and had a mask made for him so he could play.
Coach Didier Deschamps revealed that everything is very positive for Mbappe but his fitness will be assessed in more detail before the match starts.
In the interview, he also shared about Mbappe’s ability to play against the Netherlands: “Mbappe’s nose was hit heavily and the situation was quite complicated. But I can confirm that Kylian Mbappe is feeling better and everything is progressing positively for him to be ready for tomorrow’s match.”
The latest images on the training field of Mbappe with a mask have increased the possibility of him playing in the match against the Netherlands.
The French team will face the Netherlands at 2:00 a.m. on June 22 at Red Bull Arena (Leipzig).
