Keanu Reeves was spotted in his hometown of Toronto, Canada, with his rock band Dogstar after a recent performance. The bassist was photographed near their tour bus, carrying a guitar case and a backpack over his shoulder, bundled up in a black corduroy jacket, a scarf, and dark denim jeans.
Just days before the gig, Reeves’ house was reportedly targeted by thieves wearing ski masks. Despite being away, multiple masked individuals broke into his home, stole a fireɑrm, and fled before the police arrived. An anonymous tip about a possible intruder led to a thorough investigation, but no trespassers were found. Later, security cameras captured masked individuals breɑking through a window and steɑling a fireɑrm.
Authorities are reviewing footage to gather more clues, with speculation that the initial call to the police might have been a scouting attempt. Reeves has faced similar incidents in the past, including break-ins in 2014, encounters with intruders, and more recently, a restraining order against an alleged stalker.
After the Toronto show, Dogstar headed back to the U.S. for a performance in Brooklyn on December 11. The band, comprised of Bret Domrose (lead vocals, guitar) and Robert Mailhouse (drums, vocals), plans to continue their tour through December and into the summer of 2024.
Reeves reunited with Dogstar in May for their first performance in over two decades at the 2023 BottleRock Napa Valley music festival. The band, formed in 1991, released two studio albums and an EP before disbanding in 2002.
They recently released their third album, “Somewhere Between The Power Lines And Palm Trees,” in October 2023, featuring the single “Everything Turns Around.
