Over the past few months, Keanu Reeves has been busy filming “John Wick 4” in Berlin. This past Tuesday, he was back on set, filming moody night scenes in the German capital.
The 56-year-old actor appeared dapper in a dark grey suit as he roamed the streets in front of the iconic Sacred Heart Church, with a smoke machine adding a draмatic touch.
Reeves paired his suit with a black shirt and shoes, wearing his long dark hair swept back and neatly groomed stubble. He seemed to enjoy the filming process, smiling between takes.
Reeves reprises his role as John Wick in this fourth installment of the action thriller series, with production beginning shortly after the 2019 release of “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.” While on set, Reeves was seen relaxing and sipping on water during breaks, with crew members ensuring his costume looked perfect.
Director Chad Stahelski previously shared that the team aimed to surpass previous films, with production happening in multiple locations, including Berlin, Paris, New York City, and Japan. Although there were initial plans for back-to-back filming for a fifth movie, the idea was ultimately dropped.
The original release date for the fourth film was delayed due to the global pandeмic, now scheduled to Һit theaters on May 27, 2022.
Reeves was in good spirits during filming, with other notable faces on set, including Berghain nightclub bouncer Sven Marquardt, who was spotted in a smart jacket and unbuttoned shirt.
