Two pals, two vehicles, one electrifying journey as Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter embark on a Taycan Road Trip.
Following nearly three decades of development limbo, the release of “Bill & Ted Face the Music” last summer marked a triumphant return for the beloved sci-fi comedy duo. Despite missing out on a traditional theatrical debut, the sequel was a resounding success among both longtime fans and newcomers alike. Throughout the years, stars Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter have maintained a close friendship, which now faces the ultimate test in the Porsche Taycan Road Trip.
As avid Porsche enthusiasts, Reeves and Winter set out on an unforgettable road trip across Southern California, navigating a series of nerve-wracking challenges that put their skills and the new Porsche Taycan Turbo electric sports car to the test. The journey unfolds with a thrilli𝚗g eight-minute film, “Going the Distance,” which premiered recently.
Joined by a star-studded cast of challengers, Reeves and Winter tackle each task head-on. From experiencing the exhilarating Launch Control feature with racer and stunt driver Tanner Foust to mastering a two-mile hill climb up the Pacific Coast Highway alongside Porsche Factory Race Driver Patrick Long, the duo pushes the limits of the Taycan Turbo on closed roads.
Their adventure culminates at the Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles, where they aim to surpass the Taycan’s drift record under the supervision of professional drivers on a closed course.
At the heart of the Taycan lineup, the Taycan Turbo boasts impressive performance capabilities, including a 0-60 mph acceleration in just 3 seconds and a combined 670 hp from its twin electric motors. Enthusiasts can experience the Taycan firsthand at the Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles and Atlanta.
Reuniting after their recent appearance in “Bill & Ted Face the Music,” Reeves and Winter continue to captivate audiences with their chemistry and camaraderie.
While Winter expressed interest in collaborating with Reeves on future projects beyond the “Bill & Ted” universe, he is currently focused on directing a documentary about YouTube. Meanwhile, Reeves has completed filming “The Matrix 4” and is gearing up for “John Wick 4.”
