Beyoncé’s 6-year-old daughter Rumi Carter broke the world record as the youngest female singer to enter the Billboard Hоt 100 chart.
The daughter of music legends Beyoncé and Jay Z has entered the Hоt 100 chart after performing her mother’s song Protector, from the singer’s newly released country album Cowboy Carter.
Protector debuted at number 42 on the Hоt 100, amassing 11.3 million US streams in its first week.
The young star can be heard in the acoustic ballad’s intro telling Beyoncé: “Mom, can I hear the lullaby?”
In the emotional song, Beyoncé opens up about motherhood and sings about being proud and protective of her three children, 6-year-old twins Rumi and Sir Carter, and 12-year-old daughter Blue.
