Scarlett Johansson led the way as the stars came out for the People’s Choice Awards.
The actress won female movie star for Black Widow, which also won movie of the year at the awards held in Santa Monica to celebrate the best in television, movie and music talent.
She said: “When I first started my journey with Marvel, I didn’t know whether or not audiences would like my portrayal of this beloved character. So I really owe this all to you guys.

Halle Berry won people’s icon while Dwayne Johnson took home people’s champion and Christina Aguilera, who performed at the ceremony, was handed the music icon.

Johnson gave the award to a surprised Make-a-Wish recipient in the audience.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a charity granting the wishes of children living with life-threatening illnesses.
“I met her earlier. I told her how inspired I was by her story. She is a survivor,” Johnson said.

Before pᴀssing on the award, the Red Notice actor said: “She has fought literally for her life. She has inspired her family, her friends, now you guys here, now the world that is watching.”

Adele accepted her female artist award via video link from her home in Los Angeles while fellow Brit Tom Hiddleston won male TV star for his role in Loki.

Star-studded red carpet attendees included Paris Jackson, Khloe and Kim Kardashian and Laverne Cox.
The Kardashians with Kris Jenner accepted an award for the Reality Show of 2021 for the last season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Kim also won the Fashion Icon Award and thanked her estranged husband Kanye West during her speech.
She said: “To be receiving this award from a fashion icon herself, Tracee (Ellis Ross), I am so honored. I am honestly so humbled to be here. I mean, I started off as a closet organizer and a stylist. So the fact that I am winning a Fashion Icon Award, it’s like a pinch-me moment. Thank you to Kanye for really introducing me to the fashion world.”
